Mangosteen, the Queen of Tropical fruits, is indigenous to Malysia. Garcinia mangostana is its botanical name. Mangosteen fruit is thought to possess numerous great health benefits. At the top of its class, this 'Super fruit' goes further than being sugary and flavorsome. Designated the "Queen of Fruits", Mangosteen is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia and is of no relation to the Mango.
The fact is, the Mangosteen Fruit is now being studied a great deal in western medicine, and its full benefits are yet to be known.

SERVES 1 PERSON
Ingredients
* 2/3 cup mangosteen, chopped
* 2/3 cup dry champagne
* 1 egg white
* 50 g sugar
* 6 slices limes
Directions
1. Peel the fruit, chop or dice the flesh and then push through a fine sieve.
2 Stir the champagne into the puree.
3 Whip up the egg white until thick and then add the sugar and re-beat.
4 Fold the egg white mixture into the fruit puree.
5 Freeze.
